Starting to see the light!

Thursday we will have our special issue done. I will be so happy to get it done. I swear me and my coworkers are getting absolutely loopy! Having the three-day weekend coming up really threw a wrench into everything and we had to move deadlines up. Can't say that I'm too upset about that! Then we start the countdown to the Ordination. I'm so excited to go to that. I've never been to the Cathedral in the twin cities and I will get to buy a new outfit! :-)

Anywho, I'm still trucking on with the WW. I'm so thrilled to see that scale go down. I'm only 9 lbs away from my goal. I'm debating on whether to try for a lower weight or if I should be happy with what I accomplish.

Still working on a scarf. This past weekend I bought a set of circular needles and can't wait to make DS a hat. Don't know what happened to the one I made for him on the knifty knitter. LOL Oh well!

My goodness, it's been a while

I can't believe how long it's been since I last posted. Good thing I don't have hundreds of adoring fans waiting for every word I write or I'd be in trouble, lol.

Well, a lot has happened since my last post. My diocese got a new bishop and we've been working crazy to get our special issues done. I'm very happy do say we kicked butt! :-) But we still have a couple more to do. And I get to go see the ordination to bishop-hood (Is that even a word?) I'm going to be a photographer!

I haven't had much time until recently to knit. Even then it was just 8 rows or so. My book reading has kind of gone my the wayside. I'm currently listening to John Saul's "Perfect Nightmare" He's got me hooked, as always. I do enjoy his books.

And I've also started weight watchers on my own. Technically on my own but I've got TONS of support from my online friends. :-) And, of course, my dear soul mate. He's proud of me. So far I've got 10 pregnancy pounds left to lose. I think I can get it down by the end of the year. What a great christmas present that would be :-)

So much has gone on in the last couple months and of course I can't remember it all :-( My DS is just growing by leaps and bounds. Talking a TON! I'm sometimes amazed at what comes out of his mouth. Not too long ago he was running in a circle saying "All my nuts" LOL His dad had just shared some cashews with him and he was just happy and can be.

I'm sure once all the excitement slows down I will be able to post more. Course I will be able to listen to more audio books and knit! Gosh, before I know it, fall is gonna be here *sniff sniff*
