I had the honor of test knitting a hat this month. One of the gals on my knitting board has had her second pattern accepted to the KnitPicks IDP.
I love the top of the hat. I do believe it is my favorite part of the hat. It reminds me of a poinsettia.
I knit this hat in Cascade 220, US size 4 16 inch circular.
I realize now that I didn't take photos of the brim. You can see the whole hat over on her blog, sinceroknits.blogspot.com.
I did take the hat for a test run today. We headed out to our land to snow blow and clear the snow off the trailer. The temps were 20-35 degrees outs. The hat kept my head nice and warm.
