Super secret project was finished Wednesday night. I weaved the ends in Thursday morning and the bishop was kind enough to bless it today for me. I have to wait one week to give it away and then I can post a pic of it.
In the meantime, lol, I decided to cast on for a washcloth. Someone is leaving my work building and, hopefully, they will be coming back up from their new home sometime next week and I can give it to them. That is if I get it done. If I don't get it done I'm not sure what I will do. I may just hold onto it and give it as a gift for someone else ... Anywho, this is the pattern. It's called "Lacy Diamonds. Naturally, I will post whenever I get it done.
I decided to try my hand at making a cloth bag again. ... I'm kind of not getting the pattern but I thought I would give it another shot. It's a tote style bag. ... Keep your fingers crossed for me. :-)

Updates!
I feel like it's been a while since I posted but I'm sure it's not nearly that long, lol.
I made some progress on Branching Out from Knitty.com. DH was kind enough to stretch it out for me :-)
I'm also officially half-way done with my super secret project. My inner circle will get to see photos of that :-).
Oh and we have a new family member.
His name is Purple since that's what DS keeps calling him. We got him last Friday.
He got interested in the camera and kept facing it's direction. I'm a bit worried though ... he hasn't eaten since we got him. He did grab a food pellet tonite but spit it out right away. I have a feeling I may have to get a different kind of food. Naturally CeeVee is very interested in him. But only cause it's an open bowl and she loves fish water.
I've also read a few books but I don't think I have the energy to do a review on them tonite.

Today is a good example
Of how the weather affects me. It's gloomy and rainy out. And it's supposedly 50 degrees out but the wind hitting my body tells me otherwise. I feel caged and out of sorts.
KPSA
Knitting lace and watching Lost does not mix.
Thank you.
Also, WTHeck happened to spring? It's cold out. I had a heater on right now.

Finally, a picture of something
That will be frogged as soon as I'm done with this entry.
Silly me, lol, didn't put a lifeline in. Made a mistake *somehere* and naturally can't figure it out so the whole thing needs to be frogged. I had finished two repeats of the pattern.
This is the branching out pattern from Knitty.com.
Why oh why do I keep doing this to myself, lol. Live and learn, live and learn :-)

Pimping my BIL
No, not in that way. But he is in a band.
Near as I can figure, they have a new CD coming out early June.
Anywho, go check them out. They aren't mainstream

rain, rain, finally went away :-)
Yesterday was so gloomy, dark and rainy. It really put me in a funk. It's times like this that I am sorely reminded how much the weather affects me.
Today the sun is shining and it's close to 50. But it's windy, lol.
Not much going on in the knitting front except that I'm still working on the super secret project.
I bought a pair of MaryJane shoes at Target yesterday. I really like them and can't wait till I have a couple more pairs of socks knit up so I can show them off in the shoes. I would have liked to got a MaryJane with kind of a chunky heel. However, when I think about it, they would probably look funny on me.
Not sure what the weather is supposed to do tomorrow. ... If I still have energy this evening after DS has gone to bed I'm going to set up the second bank of grow lights for my greenhouse and plants some seeds. I'm probably behind on planting petunia's but I think it will be okay. ... I'm determined to successfully start seeds indoors and have them survive outside. Then I will consider myself a pseudo-master gardener. :-)
I've been doing some decluttering today. Feels good, but of course my regular house chores are pushed to the side so everything still looks kind of the same. But I feel like I can breathe a little bit and that's what counts for me.
