Day 8 - Deck the halls
A few years ago, when I got back into cross stitching, this chart was one of the first pieces I stitched. It's from Priscilla of Stitching with the Housewives. I thought it was perfect for me since I'm a chicken mama. Who would have thought that less than a year later I'd have a house chicken, too.

I love your cross stitch. I miss being able to see well enough to do it. I keep saying I'm going to invest in one of those big magnifying lights, but I wonder if I'd have time to do enough to make it worth the money I'd be spending.

I use cheater reader glasses and I have a bright ott light I got a few years back during a 40 percent off sale. I thought about the magnifying lights, but I hold my cross stitch pretty close to me. Even when I put it on the Hope stand I bought this past summer.
